Western Museum of Mining & Industry to host variety of summer events

If your kids are ages 8-12, consider registering them for the WMMI STEM camp (July 20-24). The full-day camp goes from 9-3 p.m. and costs $225, while the half-day version is 9 a.m.-noon. and costs $150. Museum members will get a $10 discount. Kids will enjoy hands-on activities, games, experiments and a variety of special guests talking about five major topics: geology, electricity, physics, mining and industry.
