It's hail season - research contractors to avoid scams

Hail season is here, and parts of the Pikes Peak Region got a tough reminder recently. The Pikes Peak Regional Building Department wants to remind property owners of a few things they can do to protect themselves after a storm hits.

Knowing what to look for after a hail storm can help prevent minor damage from getting worse. Regional Building encourages property owners to check for damage and leaks in common places like windows, the ceiling and the attic. Outside the home or business, check for damaged vents and broken shingles or roofing tiles.
