Phyllis Camille (Bratton) Webb, 89, a long-time resident of Widefield, passed away peacefully on Wednesday July 29, 2020, at her residence, surrounded by her family.
She was born on October 26, 1930, in Mt. Carmel, Ill., the daughter of Paul R. and Ursa (Arnold) Bratton, who preceded her in death.
She was united in marriage on February 5, 1952, to Kenneth Webb, who preceded her in death on May 18, 2014.
Phyllis was a devoted and loving wife to Kenneth. She traveled across the country with Ken on their Honda Goldwing. She was a very caring and nurturing mother and grandmother to her three children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Her greatest treasure was her family. She loved time with her family, cross stitch, crossword puzzles, jigsaw puzzles and her beautiful flower gardens. She had a loving spirit, a wonderful sense of humor and a beautiful smile that would brighten a room.
She is survived by her children: Darrel Webb (Bobbie) and Brenda DuPont (Steve) of Widefield, Colo.; Diana Walters (Randy) of Holts Summit, Mo., six grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.
She was also preceded in death by five brothers and one sister.
A private pavilion service for Kenneth and Phyllis will be held at Pikes Peak National Cemetery on Friday August 14, 2020, at 1 p.m., with Pastor Clifton Turner officiating.
Pallbearers are Darrel Webb, Stephen DuPont, Randy Walters, Brandon Walters, Isaac Cabrera, Dustin Clark, Danny Mariniello and Kent Bratton
A celebration of life will be held outdoors, 4 p.m. Friday, August 14, 2020, at her residence for family and friends.
Memorial contributions can be made to the organization of the giver's choice.
Arrangements are under the direction of All Veterans.
