Fountain Valley Seniors do drive-in bingo, celebrate birthdays

The Fountain Valley Senior Center hosted a drive-in bingo game on Thursday, Aug. 6. Participants played a friendly game of bingo from the safety of their vehicles. There will be another bingo game on Aug. 20 at 1 p.m. Participants are asked to stay in their vehicles and wear masks when windows are down. No facilities are available. Buy six games for $5.

Fountain Valley Senior Center remains closed, but some meal and transportation services will continue on an as-needed basis.

Reserve & Ride is limited to essential transportation needs only: medical and food related. Call (719) 600-2643.

Connections Café meal sites will have prepared meals available as an option in lieu of congregate meal site dining. Call (719) 884-2300 to reserve a meal by 2 p.m. the day prior.

Frozen meals will be available, too. Those who can drive may pick up their meals, but delivery is available. Reservations for frozen meals are acquired by calling (719) 600-2...
