Veteran in Charge program helps veterans thrive at home

Many veterans struggle to get care for their medical conditions, disabilities or other issues. The problem is especially hard for veterans who want to control their care options while also keeping a certain quality of life. Fortunately, a local program can help qualifying veterans figure out their care needs.

The Veteran in Charge (VIC) program helps veterans get care while living at home for as long as possible. This includes services to help veterans figure out what kind of services they need, purchase any necessary products, hire personal care attendants and develop a budget. For example...
