Neighborhood traffic concern ramping up

The week of Aug. 6, Cynthia Beers' 8-year-old granddaughter was almost hit by a car. The vehicle, which Beers recalls was a white SUV, pulled into Medicine Bow Avenue from a side street without taking time to stop. Beers said this was not the first time a vehicle on her street has almost collided with her granddaughter. In fact, situations like this are fairly routine as speeding has become a constant problem on Medicine Bow and the surrounding streets.
