Did you receive a letter and phone call from CDC/ATSDR?

The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) and Agency for Toxic Substances and Disease Registry (ATSDR) is offering free, voluntary blood and urine testing for PFAS to randomly selected households in the area. If you received a letter in the mail or visit, please call the number they provided. Community participation is very important. The results of the exposure assessment will help individual participants and their communities better understand their exposure to PFAS and may provide information that the communities can use to reduce PFAS exposure. It will add new information to PFAS testing already done in this area. Many of us wish we could just volunteer for this study, but it is a random selection and we are depending on those selected to participate. There are about 11,000 homes in the testing area and we need 400 to participate. Please do this very important study for our communities.
