Stop the Bleed donation

UCHealth's Memorial Hospital Foundation and Memorial's Injury Prevention and Research Institute (MIPRI) donated 175 Stop the Bleed kits this week to the El Paso County Sheriff's Office. The kits will ensure deputies in El Paso County have tools they may need to help save a life in traumatic emergencies where the Sheriff's Office may be the very first to respond on scene.

In the case of traumatic injuries, time is of paramount importance, especially in remote areas of the county where emergency medical personnel may not be immediately nearby. The Stop the Bleed kits contain supplies needed...
