Deputies with the El Paso County Sheriff's Office have been reading to area school children, including this class at Sunrise Elementary pictured here, as part of the Books and Badges program. EPCSO has participated in the program since 2015. After the stories, students had a chance to ask deputies questions about their training and jobs.
