Three single mothers help build their Habitat homes, become neighbors, too

FOUNTAIN – Pikes Peak Habitat for Humanity (PPHFH) celebrated the dedication of a new home for a single mother and her son virtually last week.

Normally PPHFH holds in-person dedication ceremonies upon the completion of Habitat houses, but because of the current COVID-19 situation the event was shared virtually on Facebook instead.  

Sumonrat and her son Jefferson are the first of three single-mother families to move into their new Habitat house in the Country Living development in Fountain.
