Driver's license contest extended after $1,000 in grants obtained for winners

This sample shows the most recently updated driver license design in Colorado.

The Colorado Department of Revenue's Division of Motor Vehicles (DMV) is extending the Iconic Colorado contest to Oct. 30 thanks to two grants totalling $1,000.

The grants, which will be awarded to the winners of the front and back designs, will be $500 each and are a result of interagency collaboration between the DMV and Colorado Creative Industries, a division of Colorado's Office of Economic Development and International Trade (OEDIT).

The Iconic Colorado contest will accept submissions from anyone who lives or studies in Colorado until Oct. 30.
