This aerial view of Mesa Elementary School in Fountain shows the latest progress on the new building additions as of mid-October.
Construction on the new addition at Mesa Elementary is progressing, with teachers and classes in grades kindergarten through third set to move in later in November, before the Thanksgiving holiday.
In order to complete this move in the safest and most efficient way, all students in grades K-5 will participate in instruction remotely Nov. 19-20. Teachers will work with students online on both days (teachers may not be on site the entire time). Utilizing these two days allows the Mesa Elementary staff to complete the move in a compact time frame in order for classrooms to be ready for student...
