El Paso County at Level Orange

The Colorado Department of Public Health and Environment (CDHPE) announced on Nov. 11 that El Paso County would be required to move to Level Orange (Safer at Home) restrictions by 5 p.m. on Nov. 13.
The CDHPE stated in a press release that this change is to due to rises in positive COVID tests, hospitalizations and increased case rates. The CDHPE's COVID-19 Dial Framework reported that on Nov. 10, El Paso County had a two-week incidence rate of 711.4 (meaning 711.4 incidents per 1,000 people) and a two-week test positivity rate of 13.26 percent.
