Just in time for the holidays, small retail merchants are banding together on a new e-commerce platform to offer thousands of unique gifts to U.S. shoppers.
A Colorado Springs beauty supply store is one of those small businesses trying out this new way of doing business in times when in-person shopping has become difficult.
Lisa Pierce, owner of L.E. Beauty of Colorado Springs, announced that L.E. Beauty has joined other small retail businesses at MainStreetEXPO.com. MainStreetEXPO is designed to deliver an easier, more affordable way for small retailers to sell to a national audience online.
"We joined MainstreetEXPO to grow our high-end makeup line and reach new customers," said Pierce.
L.E. Beauty is a locally-owned family business in Colorado Springs that produces and carries high-end beauty supplies. Unique gift options from L.E. Beauty on MainstreetEXPO.com include a mineral-based makeup line and full-coverage gluten-free foundation.
"We're grateful to L.E. Beauty for joining our effort to help small retailers survive COVID and thrive after," added Bernard Sandoval, who quickly launched MainstreetEXPO.com when he saw how many businesses were closing for good in cities across the US. "We're adding great new merchants and unique gifts every day. Every purchase is meaningful to each small business."
Small retailers are invited to register now by signing up at http://bit.ly/SellerRegistrationEXPO so their virtual storefront can go live before the holiday shopping season.
MainstreetExpo is an e-commerce platform designed to give small businesses a simple, fast way to sell to a national audience virtually overnight.
The program is fueled by an alliance of small business marketers, technologists and community leaders who saw the need for a strong response to the catastrophic level of business closings in the wake of COVID-19.
