Thankful for better park access

As the parent of a son with a severe brain injury, I fully understand the challenges faced by those with disabilities. While the Americans with Disabilities Act went a long way to removing barriers for those who are differently abled, it didn't go far enough. I want to applaud Fountain's City Council for the efforts they have put in to making several of the parks in the city accessible.
Imagine the joy of a child in a wheelchair who can now access a playground that was once off limits. Or the parent of a child who can now access the bathrooms when they are at the park with their child.
