Fountain resident helps God's Pantry get grant; more help needed

God's Pantry, at 30 Widefield Blvd., distributes food, clothing and other items to people in need. The nonprofit is always open to volunteers, especially in the post-Christmas season.
Fountain resident Elizabeth Eagle has a reputation for helping out wherever she can. During Christmas, she's Jingles the Happy Elf, appearing at the Fountain Walmart and holiday charity events.
Throughout the year, she works with The Salvation Army, More Than A Meal and God's Pantry. Her work with God's Pantry extends to over 15 years ago, when she went through a difficult time financially and was helping out as a food service worker at the pantry.
