Buddy Loehr, 60, of Colorado Springs, Colo., passed away January 1, 2021, after a short illness. A private family gathering will be held this summer.
Buddy was born August 25, 1960, in Tacoma, Wash., to Millicent and K.V. Loehr. He graduated from Widefield High School in 1978. He married Leslie J. Bennett, October 2002, in Las Vegas, Nev.
Buddy was an assistant service manager at Red Noland Cadillac for 27 years. He enjoyed helping his customers and, in return, he had a very loyal client base. His family often shared stories of being greeted by people while on outings with him and told how much they appreciated him. We teased him about it, but we are honored that he was held in such high regard by so many. He was an animal lover and an avid Broncos and Rockies fan. He missed his son until his last breath and loved his wife with all his heart.
Buddy is proceeded in death by his son, Ryan Nicholas, and his parents. He is survived by his wife, Leslie J Bennett; his stepson, Ryan Bennett; his brother, David (Tamra); sister, Ramona (Bobby); and nieces/nephews.
Buddy was well loved and will be greatly missed by family and friends. In lieu of flowers, please make a donation to Harley's Hope Foundation, PO Box 88146, Colorado Springs, CO 80908; or visit Harley-hopefoundation.org.
