Agencies partner to provide and deliver FEMA food boxes

Volunteers who helped distribute the FEMA food boxes included Cynthia Beers, Det. Robyn Abrams, Det. Amanda Hajdik, Lt. Tara Mallett, Cmdr. Frank Lewis, Austin Starnes, Lt. Mark Cristiani and Tom Wisdom of the Fountain Police and Code Enforcement department; Mark Bowers of the Fountain Valley Senior Center, and Gabi Borchard, a youth volunteer from Mesa Ridge High School.

Members of the Fountain Police Department, Fountain Housing Authority, Fountain Code Enforcement, and community members joined the Fountain Valley Senior Center at Grinde Manor in Fountain to distribute FEMA food boxes to the residents last Friday.

The event was part of a distribution of over 23 pallets of food boxes for older adults in the month of January.
