Council proclaims Black History Month

Nehemiah Gibson portrays actor Chadwick Boseman during last Tuesday's Fountain City Council meeting during which the council proclaimed February as Black History Month. Gibson's speech was a sneak peak of the upcoming Multi-Cultural Black History Program at Stargazers.

Last Tuesday the Fountain City Council read a proclamation declaring February as Black History Month. At the invitation of Council Member Dr. Detra Duncan, two boys gave speeches portraying famous black men as a sneak peak of some of the performances that will be seen at the eighth annual Multi-Cultural Black History Program on Feb. 28.
