While 3 Margaritas is closed due to a fire early the morning of March 26, restaurant operators hope to be able to serve breakfast and lunch from the new food truck in the parking lot. Those details are still being worked out; more information to follow.

A fire that apparently broke out in the kitchen at 3 Margaritas restaurant at the corner of Fontaine and Widefield Boulevard was discovered before dawn Friday morning, forcing the restaurant to close for the next several weeks.

A restaurant employee said fire crews were still investigating the scene to determine the exact cause, but no one was in the building at the time it started. Although the fire was contained to the kitchen area, it will take some time to recover and reopen.

The restaurant recently set up a food truck in the parking lot to serve breakfast. Due to the fire, 3 Margaritas operators hope to expand food truck service to lunch hours while the building is closed. However, logistics to make that happen are still being worked out. More details to come.
