In Loving Memory of Ursula M. Ramos

Ursula M. Ramos, 98, beloved wife, mother and grandmother, went peacefully to be with the Lord on Thursday, April 22, 2021, in Florence, Colorado. She was born in Cromland, Germany, on Dec. 17, 1922 - the first of three children born to the late Alex and Gerturd Weber.
Ursula attended Catholic schools in Germany and Pikes Peak Community College in Colorado Springs, Colorado.
When WWII was over, she worked at the U.S. Post exchange in Bad Hersfeld; where she met her husband, Ramon "Shorty" Ramos. After coming to the U.S., she was active in the American Red Cross at Fort Carson, dental assisting. She was also very active in the Fort Carson Catholic Choir and Retired Military Widows. She was an avid Broncos fan and even attended two Super Bowls.
She leaves behind to cherish her memory her children Christine, Margaret and Patricia; eight grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren.
Visitation will take place Tuesday, May 4, 2021, at 11 a.m. at Dove-Witt Family Mortuary, 6630 S. U.S. Hwy. 85/87, Fountain, CO 80817. A Celebration of Life will be May 4, 2021, at noon. A private graveside service will be held at Pikes Peak National Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Alzheimer's Association or American Cancer Society. Dove-Witt Family Mortuary is entrusted with the arrangements for Mrs. Ramos.
