Fort Carson's new Intrepid Spirit Center to treat TBI

Officials at Fort Carson gathered last Thursday to break ground on the new Intrepid Spirit Center, which will diagnose and treat traumatic brain injury (TBI) and post-traumatic stress (PTS) in active-duty service members throughout the region.

The 25,000-square-foot center is projected to cost approximately $12.5 million to construct and will be equipped with the latest in brain technology and treatment facilities. It is being made possible by the Intrepid Fallen Heroes Fund.
