BOYS BASEBALL

MESA RIDGE

GRIZZLIES GO 1-1

The Lady Grizzlies lost 10-0 when they played at Fountain-Fort Carson on Friday in a non-league game, and won 2-1 when they played Pueblo East on Friday in a neutral tournament game. They finished the week 2-3 overall and first in league. They return to action Thursday when they host Canon City in a league game, and on Saturday when they host Rampart in a non-league game.

WIDEFIELD

GLADS GO 0-4

The Gladiators lost 9-1 when they hosted Pueblo Central last Wednesday (May 19) in a non-league game, lost 6-3 when they hosted Woodland Park on Thursday in a league game, lost 11-0 when they played at Falcon on Saturday in a non-league game, and lost 16-1 when they played at Pueblo Centennial on Monday in a non-league game. They finished the week 0-5 overall and fifth in league. They return to action Thursday when they host Palmer in a league game, and Saturday when they host Sierra in a league/non-league game.

FOUNTAIN-FORT CARSON

TROJANS GO 2-2

The Trojans lost 16-11 when they hosted Vista Ridge on Thursday in a league game, won 10-0 when they hosted Mesa Ridge on Friday in a non-league game, won 4-3 when they plated Pueblo East in a neutral non-league game, lost 11-1 when they competed against Vista Ridge on Monday in a neutral non-league game. They finished the week 3-6 overall and 1-5 in league. They return to action Thursday when they play at Pine Creek in a league game, and Tuesday when they host Lewis-Palmer in a league game.

GRIZZLIES GO 1-2

The Grizzlies won 3-0 when they hosted Colorado Springs School last Tuesday (May 18), lost 3-0 when they played at Colorado Springs Christian last Wednesday (May 19) and lost 0-3 when they hosted James Irwin on Monday in three Class 4A Colorado Springs Metro League games. They finished the week 2-6 overall and seventh in league. They return to action today when they play at Fountain-Fort Carson in a league game, and Monday when they host the Vanguard school in a league game.

FOUNTAIN-FORT CARSON

TROJANS PLAY TODAY

The Trojans finished the week 2-4 overall and sixth in league. They return to action today (May 26) when they host Mesa Ridge, and next Tuesday when they play at Cheyenne Mountain in two league games.

The Lady Trojans lost 6-1 when they played at Pine Creek last Wednesday (May 19), lost 6-1 when they played at Palmer Ridge on Thursday, and won 5-2 when they played at Doherty on Monday in three Class 4A/54 Pikes Peak Athletic Conference games. They finished the week 1-5 overall and second in league.

Mesa Ridge, Widefield and Fountain-Fort Carson all competed in the Fountain-Fort Carson Invitational on Friday. The finals' scores are as follows:

Of Mesa Ridge's athletes, Janise Everett scored first place, Nevaeh Bernal scored second place and Brianna Coleman scored third place in the girls' 100-meter dash. Everett took first place while Bernal and Coleman shared second place in the girls' 200-meter dash. Rimari Facey and Mercedes McIntyre shared second place in the girls 100-meter hurdles. McIntyre and JamieLynn Dees shared second place in the girls' 300-meter hurdles. Danaya Kinnard scored first place in the girls' triple jump and second place in the girls' long jump. Raeanna Bristow scored third place in the girls' discus. Nathaniel Richardson scored first place in the boys' 100-meter dash and in the boys' 200-meter dash. Niko Allgood scored second in the boys' 200-meter dash. Kenneth Fritsch scored first place scored first place in the boys' 400-meter dash. Josiah Donato scored first place in the 1600-meter run. Demario Medina and Mathias Price shared third place in the boys 110-meter hurdles. Price scored second place in the boys' long jump. Trei Ginn scored first place and Mekhi Hubbard scored second place in the boys' triple jump. Elijah Davis and Caden McClements shared third place in the boys' discus. McClements and Evan Brown shared first place in boys' shot put. The Mesa Ridge Relay team scored third place in the 4x200 meter relay.

Of Widefield's athletes, Asia Davis scored third place in the girls'400-meter dash. Abigail Vsetecka scored second place while Maggi Morrell scored third place in the girls' 1600-meter run. Cami Carmody scored second place in the girls' high jump. Emma Conroy scored second place in the girls' discus. Nate Hoyt scored second place and Deshawn James scored third place in the boys' 100-meter dash. James scored third place in the boys' 200-meter dash. Brandon Williams Jr. scored first place and Angelo Thomas scored second place in the boys' 400-meter dash. Derek Allen scored second place in the boys' 110-meter hurdles. Allen scored first place and Mario Cazares scored third in the boys' 300-meter hurdles. The Widefield relay team scored second place in the girls' 4x100 meter relay and in the girls' 800-meter sprint medley relay. The boys' relay team scored third place in the 4x800 meter relay.

Of Fountain-Fort Carson's athletes, Marketa Draper scored first place and Amara Strandridge scored second place in the girls' 100-meter dash. Draper scored first place and Aylonna Robison scored second place in the girls' 200-meter dash. Jada Miller scored first place in the girls 400-meter dash. Klohe Foster scored third place in the girls' 100-meter hurdles. Aleda Anderson scored first place in the girls' 300-meter hurdles. Miller scored third place and Nekkia Jones scored first place in the girls' long jump. Kylee Mendez scored third place in the girls' discus and the girls' shot put. Lawrence Walker scored first place, while Curtis Jackson III and Jackie Jordan shared second place in the boys' 100-meter dash. Walker, Jordan and Malik Parson shared first place, while Jackson Heydenberk scored third place in the boys' 200-meter dash. Keenan Campbell scored second place in the boys' 400-meter dash. Zachary Johnson scored third place in the boys' 110-meter hurdles. Johnson scored first place and Jesiah Stevens-Silvah scored second place in the boys' 300-meter hurdles. Breon Clercin and Adin Smith shared third place in the boy's long jump. Isaac Logo scored second place in the boys' discus finals and third place in the boys' shot put. Fountain-Fort Carson's team scored second place in the girls 4x100 meter relay and scored first place in the girls' 200-meter relay. The boys' team scored second place in the boys 4x100 meter relay and the 4x200 meter relay.

Mesa Ridge and Widefield will compete in the Blossom Invitation this Friday in Canon City. Fountain-Fort Carson will compete in the Pomona Invitational this Friday in Lakewood.
