Programs require pre-paid registration. Due to COVID-19, programs are subject to cancellation. Call the Nature Center or check website for current status. Masks or cloth face coverings required.
Nature Adventures: Underwater Wonders
Thursday, June 3, and Friday, June 4, 9–10:30 a.m.
Children ages 3-6, with an adult, will enjoy puppet shows or stories, crafts, hands-on activities and discovery time on the trail. $3 per person including siblings 2 and over and adults.
2s & 3s Outdoors: Baby Birds
Thursday, June 24, and Friday, June 25, 9–10:15 a.m.
Explore nature with your 2 or 3 year-old through interactive activities, a story and a short hike. $3 per person including siblings 2 and over and adults.
Eco-Caching in El Paso County Parks
Tuesday, June 4, through Saturday, August 28
A fun twist on Geocaching, an Eco-Cache brings you to see a place of interest. The location itself is the treasure! Take a day or all summer to visit eight El Paso County park locations. Participants will be sent coordinates and site-specific questions upon registration. Prizes awarded upon completion. $10 per person.
Active Adults: Hike with a Geek
Saturday, June 19, 10 a.m.–12 p.m.
Celebrate National Hike with a Geek Day by joining one of our naturalists for a walk that’s nerdy by nature! Scientific names and their meanings, biological processes, and odd trivia will make this an informative trip to geek out over! $5 per person, $4 per member. Prepaid registration required.
