Local pros provide tips for hail season

Crews from Colorado Springs-based High Country Roofing replace a roof in Widefield following the hail storms of 2018. Roofing companies flooded the Fountain Valley that summer and fall to do repairs.

While summertime means a temperature increase in the Fountain Valley and surrounding area, it's also the season when the harshest rain and hailstorms arrive.

Tanner Johnson, a Fountain Valley native (his family was one of the original 1872 settlers) has worked in the roofing business for eight years and owns the local company 7th Generation Roofing. During that time, he's seen some pretty surprising hail damage to roofs.
