One hospitalized after early morning shooting

One person was shot early the morning of June 16. Fountain Police found the injured party at the Love's Country Store.

UPDATE (June 22):

The suspect has been identified as 41-year-old Steven Hober. He is considered armed and dangerous and has made threats towards law enforcement, an FPD spokesperson said.

Hober is described as a white male, 5-foot-11 height, 215 pounds, bald, with blue eyes.

Steven Hober has been identified as the suspect in a June 16 shooting. Police say he is considered armed and dangerous.

ORIGINAL (June 16):

At about 3 a.m. this morning (June 16), officers with the Fountain Police Department received information of a male who had been shot and was currently at Love's Country Store, located at 5505 Travel Plaza Drive. Upon arrival, officers located a male with an apparent gunshot wound. The victim was transported to a local hospital. The victim was not forthcoming with a description on who shot him.

FPD's Investigations Division has assumed responsibility for this investigation and is currently working active leads.
