PPACG Area Agency on Aging and Security Public Library partner to present 2021 Medicare Education Sessions
The Pikes Peak Area Agency on Aging (PPAAA) and the Security Public Library are partnering to provide information about Medicare to the Security/Widefield community. Coming up is a lunch and learn class in August, and an evening class in September.
Aug. 11 at noon - Don't Get Scammed! - Learn about the latest Fraud and Scams targeting Older Adults and tips on how to Detect, Report and Protect yourself and your loved ones, from becoming a victim.
Sept. 15 at 5:30 p.m. - Medicare Open Enrollment - 2022 Medicare Drug Plans and Medicare Advantage Plans - See how you can save for the upcoming year. This is your chance to be in control of your out-of-pocket prescription drug costs.
Let this partnership between the Security Public Library and the PPAAA guide and support you as you make important health care decisions that affect the rest of your life. The classes are taught by counselors from the State Health Insurance Program (SHIP) who are expertly trained to provide up-to-date, current insurance information.
All class presentations are at no cost to the participant. Registration is required for all classes and can be made at ppacg.org/events: http://www.ppacg.org/events. Please check the PPACG website for a description of all classes with PPAAA and their community partners.
