New A.I.M. facility in Fountain to offer unique student services

Students and staff helped cut the ribbon on the new A.I.M. Education Center at Fountain-Fort Carson School District on Monday. The center will house the Launch Program and the Phoenix Program.

Fountain-Fort Carson School District 8 celebrated the grand opening of the new A.I.M. Education Center on Monday. A.I.M. stands for Achieve, Inspire, Motivate and the building will house two programs for students with unique needs.

The Launch Program serves students from the age of 18–21 who have met the requirements to earn their high school diploma, but per their Individualized Education Plan (IEP), they qualify for extra support and time in learning life skills to support their postsecondary goals.
