Police ask for help in ID'ing suspect

Police are asking for help in identifying the driver of this red Subaru Outback. They say the man threatened others in the Venetucci Walmart parking lot on July 23.

The Fountain Police Department is seeking the public's help in identifying a knife-wielding suspect who allegedly threatened several individuals.

On Friday, July 23, at approximately 9:15 p.m., a male exited a Subaru Outback in the Walmart parking lot, located at 4425 Venetucci Blvd., carrying two 12-inch knives. Police say he walked up to another vehicle in the parking lot where a couple and very young children were sitting and threatened the driver, as well as a Walmart employee who witnessed the event.

FPD needs the community's assistance in identifying the suspect and/or the owner of the vehicle. Witnesses were unable to get a license plate number.

Suspect: White male; bald; mid- to late-40's

6'0" to 6'2"

170-180lbs

Suspect Vehicle: Red Subaru Outback (2000's model) with a roof rack and missing the rear bumper.
