Muddy Little Cowboy Ranch

Muddy Little Cowboy Ranch will hold its one-day Harvest Festival and Pumpkin Patch on Saturday, Oct. 2, from 10 a.m.-6 p.m.

Located at 16810 S. Peyton Hwy. in Hanover, the festival will include hay rides, kids train ride, petting zoo and feed, cowgirl/cowboy dress-up contest with prizes at noon, autumn fairy dress-up at noon, games with prizes, two pumpkins per family while supplies last, photo spots, swings, kids tractors, food trucks, vendors and the country store.

Cost is $30 per family, or $15 per individual.

The ranch has been open for the last year and offers visitors an up-close look at farm life. Visitors during the normal season see animals, homemade goods made from farm resources, and fun hands-on activities.

Next Step Horse Rescue

Next Step Horse Rescue invites everyone to a Fall Festival on Oct. 2 from 11 a.m.-5 p.m. This is a family-friendly event with lots of fun things to do. Pony rides, petting zoo, games, pumpkin patch, and much more! Jessie from Toy Story will be there as well to meet and take pictures with. Have your face painted and eat some delicious food from the food trucks and shop from local vendors.

Entrance is free. Certain attractions such as pony rides, pedal cart train, etc., will be available by tickets. Tickets will be $20 for a sheet of 25 tickets or $1 a ticket.

Next Step Horse Rescue is located at 2222 N. Ellicott Hwy, Ellicott.
