Trunk or Treat at Fountain City Hall - After last year's drive-through variation of the traditional event due to COVID-19, the city of Fountain is bringing back Trunk or Treat to City Hall on Friday, Oct. 29, from 5-7 p.m.

Children line up to get treats from dozens of trunks sponsored by area businesses and nonprofits. Organizations wanting to host a spot should call (719) 322-2020 or email [email protected]

Following Trunk or Treat, the city is offering a free movie showing of Disney Pixar's "Coco." Guests may bring blankets or chairs for this outdoor showing.

Fountain Library "Stories and More" - Because many visitors to Trunk or Treat come through the nearby Fountain Library parking lot, the library has something special planned there as well.

Called "Stories and More," this event will be at the same time as Trunk or Treat and will feature outdoor stories and games, a take-home s'mores kit, and photo opportunities in front of the green screen for those wanting a spooky keepsake photo. Fountain Library is at 230 S. Main St.

Nightmare on Main Street - Saturday, Oct. 30, from 5-10 p.m. at 116 S. Main St., Fountain. Features food vendors, a “Boo Brew Tent” from Peaks N Pines Brewery, DJ and music for dancing.

Judges for these contests will be City Council candidates.
