Fountain-Fort Carson (FFCHS)
The Trojans lost 12-2 against Fossil Ridge on Saturday in the first bracket of the regional playoffs. They did not progress further in the state championships.
FOOTBALL
MRHS
The Grizzlies won 49-7 when they hosted Coronado on Thursday.
WHS
The Gladiators lost 23-13 when they hosted Falcon on Friday.
FFCHS
The Trojans won 44-0 at Rampart on Friday.
CROSS COUNTRY
Mesa Ridge and Widefield competed in the CSML South Championship hosted by Coronado High School on Thursday. In the girls' race, Mesa Ridge's Elizabeth Carlos placed 3rd and Widefield's Maggi Morrell placed 11th. In the boys' race, Widefield's Keaton Morrison placed 2nd and Ethan Kimminau placed 9th, Mesa Ridge's Aaron Roberds placed 12th. In the team scores, Widefield's girls team placed 4th and Mesa Ridge placed 5th.
