Mesa Ridge (MRHS)

The Grizzlies won 2-0 at Harrison last Tuesday. This marks their final game of the regular season, they will compete against Northfield at the CHSAA state playoffs on Oct. 28.

Widefield (WHS)

The Gladiators lost 9-0 at Canon City last Tuesday, and lost 7-0 at Douglas County on Thursday.

Fountain-Fort Carson (FFCHS)

The Trojans lost 4-0 at Lewis-Palmer last Wednesday (Oct. 20).



The Grizzlies won 14-6 at Rampart on Thursday.


The Gladiators won 42-0 at Liberty on Friday.


The Trojans won 30-10 when they hosted Pueblo West on Thursday.


Mesa Ridge and Widefield both competed in the Colorado 4A Region 5 Cross Country event last Wednesday (Oct. 20). In the girls' race, Mesa Ridge's Elizabeth Carlos placed 9th and Widefield's Maggi Morrell placed 25th. In the boys' race, Widefield's Ethan Kimminau placed 12th and Mesa Ridge's Aaron Roberds placed 17th. In the team scores, Mesa Ridge girls placed 6th and Widefield girls placed 7th; Widefield boys placed 3rd and Mesa Ridge boys placed 4th. The Mesa Ridge boys' team and Elizabeth Carlos will compete at the state championships on Saturday, as will the following Widefield athletes: Landon Johnson, Ethan Kimminau, Nathan Maloukis, Keaton Morrison, Dylan Palmer, Kris Palmer, and Ryan Vsetecka.

Fountain-Fort Carson competed in the Colorado 5A Region 5 Cross Country event on Thursday. Claire Nowels placed 25th and Vincent Kipchirchir placed 3rd. In the team scores, Fountain-Fort Carson girls placed 10th and Fountain-Fort Carson boys placed 11th. Vincent Kipchirchir will go on to compete at the state championships.
