Locals help find Amber Alert vehicle

Watson Junior High eighth-grader Frank Guerrero was one of the people who alerted police to a vehicle matching the description in a recent Amber Alert.

Don't dismiss a statewide Amber Alert just because the last known location was miles away from you. That's a lesson some local residents learned well recently when they realized the vehicle described in the alert – last seen around Denver - was right in front of them.

Take for instance Frank Guerrero, an 8th-grade student at Watson Junior High, who put the phrase "if you see something, say something" into action last week. While riding home on the school bus, he received an Amber Alert notification on his phone with a description of a vehicle where two young girls were last seen.
