Santa and Mrs. Claus got a police escort through Fountain last Thursday as they helped distribute toys to children throughout the community. The Red Santa/Blue Santa programs through the city's Fire and Police departments have been busy collecting donations, and Thursday's distribution was the grand finale to spread cheer before Christmas. Several public safety employees and elected officials helped with the effort. There were many happy faces all over the city as children were surprised with gifts.
