Regular monthly events and special activities
BINGO—Each Thursday at 1 p.m.
Dementia Support Group meets every third Monday of the month at 2 p.m. at the center in the conference room. The public is invited to attend.
On Jan. 25 at 1 p.m., there will be a class titled “10 Warning Signs of Alzheimer’s and Dementia.” Call 719-372-5977 to sign up.
Active Minds—On Jan. 20 at 2:30, meet for a presentation on “Coffee: A Brief History” to learn the origins of this popular drink. Coffee and snacks will be available.
Cardio Drumming meets at the center every Tuesday at 2 p.m. for a half-hour of music, exercise and fun.
Dinner on the Town will be Jan. 26 at Coal Mine Dragon. Call FVSC at 719-600-2644 to RSVP.

Transportation is provided by appointment only for seniors 60-plus or non-elderly disabled. Transportation is provided to: medical appointments, congregate meals, shopping, personal business, and senior center. To make reservations, call 719-600-2643, with at least 48 hours’ notice.
