In Loving Memory of Donna Mae O'Donnell

May 21, 1932 - January 24, 2022

Donna Mae O'Donnell, 89, passed away peacefully on January 24, 2022, with family around her.

She was preceded in death by her husband of 46 years, James O'Donnell.  She is survived by her children: Mike (Merrie Ellen), Pat (Amy), Steve (Pam), and Maureen Tunnell (Tim), her eight grandchildren, 12.95 great-grandchildren and many loving nieces and nephews.

Donna was a clerical WAC at Walter Reed Hospital when she met Jim; they were married soon after and she was forced out of the Army by the rules of the day. She was proud of her service to her country and in her role as a military wife.

She worked for Memorial Hospital's medical records and Widefield School District Preschool.

She held various leadership positions with VFW Post 3917 Ladies Auxiliary.

Donna loved family get togethers, rare trips to Cripple Creek, holiday jewelry, travels, her vacation tans, and her grandbabies.  She will be missed for her loyal friendship, her love of family and her mixing of words.

A viewing will be held on Wednesday, Feb. 2, at 10 a.m. with a celebration of life service at 11 at Dove-Witt Family Mortuary, 6630 S. U.S. 85-87, Fountain, CO 80817.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the A. G. Scholarship Fund at Widefield Parks and Rec.
