Veterans housing, business center breaks ground near COS Airport

This rendering shows the design of the new Veterans Victory Housing and Small Business Center at the northeast corner of Powers Boulevard and Bradley Road. The project broke ground recently.

A unique new housing development for veterans soon will be perched on a hill at the corner of Powers Boulevard and Bradley Road.

Billed as "a place where our nation's heroes can live, work and play," the Veterans Victory Housing and Small Business Center is a $67 million-dollar holistic campus for veteran entrepreneurs.

A crowd braved the snow on Jan. 27 to break ground on the project, which will be comprised of 240 ADA-accessible, green multi-family apartments, 15 business offices, as well as event and coworking spaces on the 15-acre property.
