Sam Moon (8u, 82 pounds) took 1st place at the Peak2Peak State wrestling championship on Feb. 26 in Denver. He is a two-time state champion at the Peak2Peak State Championships. His mom reports that Sam was particularly excited about receiving a free championship singlet.
Sam also happens to be one of our Fountain Valley News carriers. Congratulations!
Sam is a member of Trojan Youth Wrestling club. Peak2Peak Wrestling is a youth wrestling league consisting of about 100 youth wrestling clubs in Colorado, Wyoming and Nebraska.
