March is Friends of the Library Sign-up Month!! “Friends” enjoy early access to our book sales in April and October, as well as the knowledge that they are making library programs and events possible! Stop by the library to sign-up!
Books needed for spring fundraiser
Support the Friends of the Security Public Library by donating your old books and DVDs for the Friends’ Spring Book Sale on April 16.
Children’s books, mysteries, paperbacks, fiction and nonfiction adult books will all be available for sale. Donations of books, especially children’s books, would be greatly appreciated. Sorry, we do not accept magazines, newspapers, or textbooks.
Persons interested in donating books for this worthy cause are encouraged to drop the books off, between 9 a.m.-4 p.m., at the Security Public Library at 715 Aspen Drive in Security. Questions: Call 719-391-3196

Regular Hours - Saturday, April 16 from 9 a.m.-4 p.m.
Books by the Bag (fill up a grocery bag for $5) 2-4 p.m.!
New Shopping Hours for Members of the Friends of Security Public Library:
Friday, April 15 from 6-8 p.m. AND Saturday, April 16, starting at 8 a.m.
Pick up a form in the library or at the book sale to join the Friends of the
Library (FOL). $5/Year or $25/Lifetime Membership!

Children’s & Teen - $.25
DVDs & CDs - $1
