It is official! We have a bill number for our next PFAS legislation!
Late Monday evening our newest piece of legislation I have been working on with Rep. Lisa Cutter and six Non-Governmental Organizations (NGOs) since early January has finally received an official bill number: HB22-1345. Our area's Representative Mary Bradfield joined as a co-sponsor for the bill in February. This bill will ban PFAS in consumer goods by 2024 such as: carpets/rugs, cookware, cosmetics, fabric treatments, food packaging, juvenile products, oil and gas products, textile furnishings, and upholstered furniture....
