Our community's HB22-1345 to Ban PFAS in consumer products will be in its first committee hearing on Thursday, April 14, at the Denver Capitol. Several more local residents will be traveling with me to give their testimony and enthusiastic support of this life-saving bill. We will be presenting to the Energy and Environment Committee; here is the link so you can see who the legislative members are and email them your support: https://leg.colorado.gov/committees/energy-environment/2022-regular-session

Another exciting piece of news is our party to celebrate this bill along with seven other bills aimed to protect our health and environment! Please join me on Tuesday, April 19, at Peaks and Pines (212 Illinois Ave. in Fountain) from 5:30-8 p.m. for a fun time and great conversations with Fountain Valley Clean Water Coalition friends. This event is also sponsored by GreenLatinos, our friends since the first house bill we did in 2019. They are traveling across Colorado with their "Take on Toxins" tour and supporting our community and Commerce City where the PFAS contaminations are some of the worst in the state and in the nation. to celebrate this bill along with seven other bills aimed to protect our health and environment!
