It may not look like it, but this is a picture of a vending machine, built by the Principles of Engineering class at Mesa Ridge High School. The class, taught by Bob Zanzig, built the machine over three weeks (or eight class sessions) using supplies that cost about $3,000. The class is supposed to be a sophomore level class but has members from all grade levels at MRHS.

The class of 20 was divided into two-student teams and each team picked a product to vend, including notebooks, pencils, erasers, paper and sticky notes.
