The Pikes Peak Area Agency on Aging has announced the release of the Annual Senior Information and Assistance Directory (“Yellow Book”). The Yellow Book offers invaluable information on more than 800 services for older adults in El Paso, Teller, and Park counties.

The English language Yellow Book is available online at www.ppacg.org/yellowbook and the Spanish language version can be found at www.ppacg.org/LibroAmarillo. For additional information about acquiring or distributing the Yellow Book, contact the Senior Information and Assistance Center at 719-471-2096.

The best places for people to pick up a Yellow Book in El Paso County are:

Fountain Valley Senior Center

Pikes Peak Library District Branches

Colorado Springs Senior Center

Silver Key Senior Services

Teller County: Teller Senior Coalition, Aspen Mine Center; Park County: Park County Senior Coalition

The Pikes Peak region has seen significant growth in the overall percentage of the population who are over 60 when compared to many other parts of the country and experts predict this trend will continue. Ever-increasing life expectancy nationwide will increase the need for senior services. The Pikes Peak Area Agency on Aging is your first call for senior services. Our goal is to help provide information and resources for older adults. PPACG serves as the state-designated Area Agency on Aging for El Paso, Park and Teller counties.
