Home Front Military Network (HFMN), a local nonprofit that assists service members, veterans and their families, will host a benefit concert at The Boot Barn Hall featuring SofaKillers on Friday, August 12, at 7:00 pm with doors open at 5:00 pm.

This concert is a celebration of the military and veteran families throughout Colorado. Proceeds from this concert will benefit Home Front Military Network (HFMN). HFMN is a nonprofit that helps Colorado's military and veteran families survive and thrive through holistic, personalized assistance. Event committee chair, Sallie Clark shares, "Home Front Military Network (HFMN) depends on fundraising events like this to continue our commitment to military families and veterans with direct and personal support services. By participating in this fun concert, you'll be helping our heroes at this energizing evening of dancing and music."

Attendees to this event will be entertained by local band, SofaKillers. SofaKillers is the most versatile cover band in southern Colorado. Based out of Colorado Springs, the band plays high-energy pop, rock, country, southern rock, classic rock and funk from the 70's to current. Tim Glenn, lead vocalist for the SofaKillers, is excited for this special fundraiser event for HFMN and invites all to join him and the band and "support those who are helping

our heroes!"

HFMN Executive Director Kate Hatten shares, "I appreciate the partnerships and collaborations of so many, including the tremendous support of our sponsors and donors who have helped us increase our capacity to meet needs during these incredibly challenging times; the tireless work of HFMN's staff as requests for assistance have more than tripled in the last two years; and the dedication of our volunteers, including our Board and Committee members. Thanks to this tremendous support, Home Front Military Network has continued the legacy of both Peak Military Care Network and The Home Front Cares to make a lasting difference in the lives of so many service members, veterans and their families."

HFMN is grateful to SofaKillers for sharing their incredible talent and passion to make this event a tremendous success and to Peregrine Consulting, Southern Colorado Medicine, Vectrus, Pikes Peak Hospice & Palliative Care, and John & Sandi Andrew for sponsoring this event and to all the many HFMN supporters attending the concert.
