TABOR refund assistance
Another Life Foundation will be at the Security Public Library on Friday, Sept. 30 from 11 a.m.-2 p.m. to help people file their state taxes free of charge so that they may receive the TABOR Refund.
Another Life is an IRS-approved IRS Vita Tax Site and will be doing walk-in service only, so there is no need to register. If there are too many people, they may be able to add more dates before the Oct. 17 deadline.
There are income restrictions to qualify for this free service, but all ages are welcome. Households must make less than $57,000 per year, and they need to bring their ID, Social Security card, End of the Year statement for any income they have (Retirement, Social Security, Income from Interest, etc.) in 2021.

Library Card Sign-up Month:
Sign-up for a library card this month and not only will you receive an awesome library bag to take home your finds, you can also enter to win a $50 gift card to Barnes and Noble! Already have a library card? You can enter the contest too! Just fill out an entry slip every time you visit the library, in-person or online (one entry per person, per day).
