Ghost Fish; The Legend of the Lake – Theatre on the Trail
Saturdays, October 8 & 15, every 15 minutes from 10–11:15 a.m. & 12:45–2 p.m. — Theatre Across Borders Production
Legend has it, there’s a fish that makes dreams come true. To find it, you may need to join the circus, swim with a mermaid, or escape a sea monster. Ghost Fish blends puppetry, dance, and silly surprises to take audiences on an unforgettable journey. Set in the beauty of local parks, the play will delight audiences young or old. Join the fun! Make a wish. Find the fish. Approximately 0.7 mile trail loop. $15 per person. Under 2 free. Prepaid registration for specific time required.
Jr. Bird Club — Saturday, October 22, 8– 11 a.m.
Nature lovers ages 8 to 15 are invited to spend time together outdoors and practice their birding skills! In this meeting, we will learn about the very first birds... Yea, this one is 66 million years in the making! Lesson, craft, and birding walk included. $10 per child.
Homeschool Fridays: Discover the Wetlands, Friday, Oct. 28, 2– 4 p.m.
Explore the five habitats at Fountain Creek Regional Park. Watch a short video, do a wetland metaphor activity, and go for a hike with a pond study. Designed for grades 3-6. 10 participants minimum; participants can join with other homeschool groups. Prepaid registration required. $4 per person.
