DO NOT attempt to cross the South Santa Fe bridge (south of downtown Fountain near I-25) in either direction until 4 p.m. today. You will be turned around. We will update if the closure lasts longer.
Colorado Department of Transportation maintenance crews will close the US 85 bridge over Fountain Creek (South Santa Fe Avenue near the 7-11 and United Business Bank, just north of the I-25 interchange) from 9 a.m. to 3 or 4 p.m. on Wednesday. The closure is needed to perform bridge maintenance work. Motorists will encounter a signed detour and should anticipate delays.
