Good day, everyone. I hope you enjoyed a fabulous week. I was able to enjoy a lovely Saturday at a Fall Festival at the recently renovated Panorama Park in SE Colorado Springs as well as enjoy the lovely weather a bit. Today I wanted to remind all one last time about voting as we are now in the last days prior to the General Election.

The General Election is this coming Tuesday, November 8. For General Election & Voter Registration Information you can call (719) 575-VOTE (8683) or email to [email protected] Also, in addition to the drop boxes or mailing your ballot (which is now not recommended in this last week, as it might not arrive by election night), there are 37 conveniently located Voter Service and Polling Centers (VSPCs) for the 2022 General Election. Voters can visit any location to register to vote, update your voter registration, request a replacement ballot, mark your ballot using an ADA accessible ballot marking device, or drop off your ballot. To find the latest information on locations and open times for the Voter Service and Polling Centers, go to https://clerkandrecorder.elpasoco.com/elections/ballot-drop-boxes-vspc-locations/. Also, you may sign up with the state to track the status of your ballot. To do so, go to https://colorado.ballottrax.net/voter/.

Also, every year the Pikes Peak Workforce Center schedules a Community & Veterans Job Fair during this time of year. This year's Veterans Job Fair will be held on Thursday, November 17. This is the largest Job Fair of its kind in Colorado. The Workforce Center will host more than 175 high-quality businesses/employers at this Community & Veterans Job Fair, so there will be lots of opportunities for residents seeking job opportunities.

The Job Fair will be at the Colorado Springs Event Center, on Palmer Park near Academy Blvd (3960 Palmer Park Blvd). Doors open at 10 AM to all military, veterans, and their spouses, and then opens to the general public from 11 AM to 3 PM. For more information and a list of all employers participating, go to https://ppwfc.org/usaa-job-fair/. And for a current list of employment opportunities with the county, please go to https://www.governmentjobs.com/careers/ElPasoCountyCo.

God bless, and remember that your vote is your voice.
