In Loving Memory of Dolores Marion Drake
August 18, 1929 - October 28, 2022
Dolores M. (Baur) Drake, entered eternal rest on October 28, 2022 in Colorado Springs. She was born on August 18, 1929 in Wisconsin to the late Joseph and Edna Baur.
On April 9, 1949 Dolores married Clinton G. Drake in Wausau, WI. Clinton preceded her in death in 2004.
She is also preceded in death by her parents, her brothers Ronald and Sonny, and her sisters Beatrice, Norma, and Lorraine.
Dolores is survived by her brother Joseph Baur, her daughter Yvonne and husband Eddie Smith, sons Michael (late wife Karen), Gerald, Allen and wife Sharma Drake; her 11 grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren.
Dolores was a 58-year Security resident, Army wife, talented seamstress, loving homemaker, Fountain Valley Crafter, 43-year member of Catholic Daughters as well as a long-standing parishioner of St. Dominic Catholic Church.
On Friday, November 11, a Rosary will be at 10:30; Mass is at 11:00; followed by a small reception at St. Dominic Catholic Church. Interment will be at Memorial Gardens Cemetery at 1:30.
